Dear Renate Andersen

A very serious and difficult topic - abuse against children.

Because it's not always easy. Especially when S. Listhaug mentions them as monsters - it certainly does not help the situation for some.

That the actions are cruel and monstrous are correct. But that should not mean that the person is a monster. And acts that appear to be outdated.

For in today's society we see that some are being characterized as a monster, stigmatized and squeezed out of society. But they are not really monsters.

To illustrate what is meant, here follows a story from reality (In short):

The little boy who too fast was stamped like a monster.

He was a good boy to begin with. But everything changes so quickly.

As a child, he was maltreated (beaten and beaten), he was also mentally rejected and terrorized.

So bad that he had to go to hospital several times - with life as an effort. It was his father and mother who stood for the wrongdoings against him.

The little boy became youth. The immature and many mental problems. Lonely and abandoned - nobody really saw what happened to the little boy who became young.

True, it would have been recorded that the boy was outgoing, out of date above all - but nobody thought or saw the real reason.

The boy was 15 years old when he committed a violent assault against a girl. He was over the criminal low age, so he was sentenced to conditional prison. But also transfer to child welfare (CPS).

Finally, the boy should be helped. But it did not happen during child welfare, the boy was subjected to more physical and mental violence from those who would really have helped the boy.

This lasted until the boy was 17 years old. Then the boy was so run down physically and mentally that he again committed an act of violence. This time he tried to kill another human being.

Now there was no way without being sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The little boy who had become a youth quickly became a young / grown man - inside the prison.

The now young but adult man, tries as well as he can to get education etc .. Because he will be released after 7 years, behind prison walls.

He gets it as good as he can in any case. He releases, settles, marries and gets children.

Life (a normal life) must begin. But it does not take long before problems arise. Not for him, but for the family he has now. The little child he is a father to and his wife is being persecuted by people they have to deal with in the daily life.

A woman receives a letter about the MONSTER she is married to. The child is bullied at school - the father is a MONSTER. The now older elderly young man is also being prosecuted, anonymous letters are sent to the employer - about which MONSTER they have employed. This makes it a little older young man losing his job.

Everything that really should have been a normal and good life - is now in gravel. But the family is still together, even if they have isolated themselves from society.

He who himself actively demanded and got help - who eventually saw his problems and ended an evil spiral of violence. Who wanted a normal and good life - he pursued as a MONSTER, of a society that loves to hate and condemn.

But no one has persecuted, no one has been convicted or had to be responsible for what the young adult man now had to live through as a child and youth. But he will always see society as a MONSTER.

So I ask who are really the real MONSTERS ?

Well knowing that not all MONSTERS necessarily have lived tru and experienced the same.

It is important to counter violence and abuse against children and adolescents. And not least, provide a good financial framework for that match.

For all types of violence and abuse against mothers and adolescents, whether it is done by female or male pedophiles.

If it is done by violent women and men. Now it is so seen in relation to the population actually get what is called pedophile.

There are several with sexual displacement and violent tendencies.

Looking at the legislation as designed with regard to children and young people's rights, it is strange that more people are not sentenced to violence and abuse (both physically and mentally).

Because according to the legislation, as much as 60-70% of the population would have been convicted or at least fined for violence and abuse of children and adolescents.

For children and adolescents being violated every day. In 1972 the law came to the effect that you are not allowed to lay hands on your own children. A law that was strengthened in the 1980s. Then strengthened further in 1989 when the Children's Convention came, which in turn has been strengthened with additional protocols. The last additional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child refuses Norway as a state to sign and ratify.

Because after the law, etc. that deals with violence and abuse of children and adolescents, they are annoyed daily because of daily care for the child or youth. And such society is per. Today, women have too much of the daily care for children and young people, which I think is wrong - men must take more responsibility and get better.

However, according to the law, it has now been seen that more women are also sentenced / fined for violations of children and adolescents. Because it's really (just and fair) is no more than a blow over your hand, an ear stick or pinch in the ear of your child or youth, you've been hurting the child / youth. And we see that from judgments in several places in the country. And in such cases (as right and reasonably), more and more are judged / fined. And here women now make up a larger and larger proportion, as it is because women still have the daily and most part of the care for children and young people.

Children's upbringing violence and violence in social relations (physical as psychological) is thus seen as a much larger society's problem than what pedophile women and men make up.

I have worked a lot against the politicians, government, etc. in relation to the victims of violence and attacked vulnerable children and young people. And I have met with many terrible attitudes among politicians.

Such as politicians who ask a child / adulterer who are at risk, get a better relationship with the child who violated the child.

Politicians who claimed that as we talked about children and young people who were victims of violence and abuse, we act like the shepherd boy who shouted; Wolf, Wolf. Therefore, we take something non existent (imagination) to get unwarranted attention.

Or politicians who have been presented with issues (real events) about children who have been subjected to violence and abuse, where the politician responds: "I will not take any initiative in relation to the children.

I have been working on this for many years - and one of the memories that stands strong is when the Deputy Director of the AP (Just after the Utya tragedy) stated: We can not take into account the children whom the parents are pushing inn front of them. (This happened at a consultation meeting in late August 2011).

I'm under the name of Mr. Sparkel - because I've all noticed how much punishment some politicians, and even ministries, want to put on one who reviews the issue. Especially when you have been or are active in some parties. Worst is the party's attitudes and actions, exclusion, etc., because you raise such topics inside the party.

There are opportunities for a good upbringing for children and young people, without violence, abuse and violation. It is a long way, which requires fundamental changes in society and people's attitudes.

Actually, I think most people in society, and it may be mandatory for future mothers and fathers, to attend a course on dealing with powerlessness, agression, etc.

So maybe a course like Psychologist Per Isdal has "alternative to violence" - something he started in 1985 if the memory does not go wrong, together with Thore Langfeldt (IKST).

Sorry for a very long post / comment.

But puts this a final point, from my side.

Good luck to you.
